DIY CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS: Affordable Last Minute Holiday Beauty Presents!



There's always so much to do around the holiday season! I REALLY enjoy making gifts for friends family and co-workers. That way I don't have to spend all of my holiday time shopping in crowded stores. In this post I will share some inexpensive beauty gift ideas you can create that are straight from the heart. They make great stocking stuffers!

DIY Cocoa Butter Body Bars

These look and smell AMAZING. They look and smell like real chocolate so make sure you don't accidentally eat them! Cocoa butter is extremely moisturizing and helps with preventing stretch marks too.

Ingredients: 

3 TBSP Beeswax Pastilles
3 TBSP Rosehip Seed Oil
3 TBSP Cocoa Butter
1/2 TBSP Raw Organic Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Vitamin E Oil

You will also need:
double boiler or pot and glass measuring cup
mixing spoon
molds

Steps:

  • Melt and combine beeswax, oils and butter.
  • Once ingredients are melted add cocoa powder and stir.
  • Immediately pour into molds and let harden.
  • For an added touch use melted cocoa butter to adhere some grated cocoa butter shavings to the top.

DIY Candy Cane Pedi Bath

Make this candy cane scented soak to help your feet relax after a long day at work or a fun night out! The Epsom salts infused with tea leaves and essential oils will relieve you of dry skin and sore muscles too! 

Ingredients:

2 Cups Epsom Salt
1 Peppermint Teabag
10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
6 drops Red Food Coloring

You will also need:
Bowls 
Mixing Spoon
Storage container

Steps:

  • Divide the Epsom Salt into two bowls.
  • Add the contents of 1 peppermint tea bag and tea tree oil into one of the bowls, stir to combine.
  • Add peppermint essential oil and red food coloring into the other bowl, stir to combine.
  • Layer each mixture on top of each other alternating colors.

DIY Peppermint Lip Balm

These cute minty lip balms will leave your lips feeling moisturized with a tint of pink! An added bonus of the peppermint essential oils in the balm will also cause your lips to plump a bit to give you a fuller pout. These are also great to use as an overnight moisturizing lip treatment.


Ingredients:

3 TBSP Sweet Almond Oil
1 TBSP Beeswax
1 tsp Raw Organic Honey
1/2 tsp Vitamin E Oil
10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
10 drops Lemon Essential Oil

You will also need:
double boiler or pot and glass measuring cup
mixing spoon
lip balm containers

Steps:

  • Melt and combine beeswax, oil and honey.
  • Once ingredients are melted add essential oils and stir.
  • Immediately pour into containers and let harden.
