I decided to make my own healthy energy drink using two simple, easy to find, ingredients that are great for you! Keep reading to see what you'll need to make this delicious and nutritious drink :)
Green tea is packed with antioxidants, helps boost your metabolism, and has natural caffeine to give you that needed pick me up. Chia seeds give you a ton of nutrients (fiber, protein, calcium, and magnesium, potassium, B vitamins, and Zinc) without many calories. Also, legends say that ancient Aztecs and Mayans used chia seeds to fuel their performances back in the day.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of green tea
- Chia seeds (amount will vary depending on your preference)
- Hot Water
- Cup or travel mug
