Overnight Oatmeal: A Healthy and Easy Breakfast Idea

Mom always said breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I never appreciated that until I hit college. Overnight oatmeal was my go to morning fuel (along with a Venti sized coffee). It's easy, delicious, and in a jar! You can pretty much throw anything in here including but not limited to chia seeds, flavored jams, nuts, peanut butter, nutella, yogurt, chocolate chips, and the possibilities go on!

Ingredients:
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup almond milk
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp chia seeds

Mix all the ingredients in a jar and shake it up! Feel free to add fruit, nuts, or cereal in the morning so they don't become soggy :) This can also be heated in microwave next morning if you don't like cold oatmeal. Enjoy!

Also, legends say that ancient Aztecs and Mayans used chia seeds to fuel their performances back in the day.

Ingredients:
  • 1 bag of green tea
  • Chia seeds (amount will vary depending on your preference)
